Miss.Education

Miss.Education: white feminized bourgeois discourse in education, social work and psychology. This course explores ideological and discourse influences on how social work, education and psychology is taught in higher education and professional development. This unpacks how these fields are invested in certain dominant discourses and how that functions to maintain power status of marginalized peoples with a critical perspective in Critical Race Theory, Whiteness, classism, gender, the discourse of madness and the discourse of crazy. ©
